Next City Council Meeting:  Menominee City Hall, 2511 10th Street

                                             Monday January 19th, 6:00pm

Attend and voice your opposition to marijuana in Menominee

The results of the November 4th vote was 78% "YES" in favor of defending Menominee from more marijuana stores.
Thank You to all who voted "YES" to limit marijuana
WARD 4 Residents:  The recent petition to recall Joe Dulak from his position as a member of the city council failed.  It was close. 191 valid signatures were required.  After “tossing” out signatures because of non-registered voter or not resident of the 4th ward there were 191 valid signatures.  On second review of signatures, either by Mr. Dulak’s attorney or another reason, an additional signature was disallowed because ditto marks were used and the recall petition fell short by one signature.  The text:

Mr. Dulak should excuse himself from any votes for marijuana stores because he is agent/broker and owner of State Wide Real Estate, and located in the same office and address is "keeko" and JD-Investco, LLC".  Mr. Dulak may benefit from property sales to marijuana companies by any of these.  He consistently votes for unlimited marijuana stores in the city, most recently, specifically:  He voted for a settlement in a city council meeting on July 15, 2024, to benefit many marijuana stores.  Most egregiously this settlement alllows construction of a marijuana establishment, "Highwire Farms", on the corner of 10th & 10th less than 200 feet from Holy Spirit Church as an exception to the city's zoning ordinance that requires a minimum 200 feet buffer to a religious organization.  Further, this location is in the path of school children on their way from school to the DAR Boys and Girls Club.  "JD-Investco" liked to State Wide Real Estate by being in the same office and location, in January 2025 sold property at 3500 10th Street, deed Liber943-625, to Menominee Partners LLC, a marijuana company.
